If you are involved in media ministry at your church – or if you would like to see a media ministry expanded or developed at your church – you should read this book. It is much more than a “how do” book. It is a “why should we?” book. Behind all the lights, action and technology is a burning passion for reaching out to a world that needs Jesus. This book is about fulfilling the great commission in today’s world. This is one of the books I will reach for as I begin to train others to join me in media ministry. It’s not nuts and bolts Photoshop tutorials (Midnight Oil has other great resources for that) but it gets to the heart of the ministry. It would also be a great resource to share with any “powers that be” that don’t understand why precious resources should be spent on technology. I was encouraged and challenged as I read the pages. I found resources, ideas and advice. The chapter on technical basics will be helpful to those who are considering purchasing equipment and don’t know where to start. There are years of experience shared in this book. Get it, read it and put the lessons into action. There is no time to lose.

Ditto to everything Marie said. As I mentioned in my post before I even read the entire book, I knew it was a gem of valuable, relevant, must-read information.
